Let's think in the following way. "P unless Q" is equivalent to "If not Q, then P." The latter can be formalized as "~Q > P."

Today I found that some students have a difficulty in translating the English expression "P unless Q" to the formal one "P v Q."

I think I've bought too many CDs, records, and tapes to listen to.

I've still not gotten used to the US keyboard layout. Every time I type the double quotation mark, my fingers are going to type Shift+2.
